No complaint, just wondering

I was looking through the banned and warned section and saw that $Foley$(or something like that) got warned for bringing up old threads. I was wondering if you don't want people to still post in them then why keep them, just lock or delete them if you can get in trouble for posting in them.

they don't want you posting in thread back like 40 pages or atleast 30 days old. they don't lock em because they trust you not to post in them since I think it is a rule.

I knew it I usually don't rememeber things unless it's on a test which is supposed to be important.
